Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am not the type to travel with much, usually a pack and good company is enough for me. I'm not on Couchsurfing to just find a place to stay, I'm on Couchsurfing to connect with other adventurers out there and create/share some memories. With that philosophy, I think it is important to say that I am equally as excited to host in the future as I am to travel because both give me that unique opportunity to meet new people.

I love playing rugby, learning, and exploring the unbeaten path. I try to make every outing an adventure and try very hard to find the furthest corners of every new place I go.

Books - huge mystery, fantasy, treasure hunting fan but love local history books from all around the world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I spent a month in Hawaii with a backpack and a tent following the adventure as I went. I ended up hiking the Kalalau trail and thanks to a fellow couch surfer, saw way more of Kauai than I could have hoped to alone.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you all about Nova Scotia if you are my guest, the best spots for socializing, the best trails for hiking, and the best towns for getting lost in their hundreds of years of history. I'm very good at traveling cheap and can certainly help anyone that wants to get around Nova Scotia on a budget.

I love learning about other cultures, I'm particularly interested in learning about the places people call home and what it is that makes them want to go back. If you teach me about your home, I will offer you mine.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I would like to make my time as your guest worthwhile for both of us, if you need a hand with anything, I am happy to help out and if you want someone to hang out with and go on an adventure, I'm your guy!

I am eager to share my stories and memories with you because I think this is an important part of traveling but I like to leave everywhere I go with a new story.
