ABOUT ME

I'm a vegetarian, a Buddhist, a poet, a thinker, a philosopher, and so interested in the world and learning/experiencing as much as I can about other cultures and people and languages. I love yoga and practice it regularly (I'm a certified yoga teacher), read when I can, have an interest in film and music and all things international. While I'm not yet fluent in many languages, I would like to start. :) I and most people who know me well consider me friendly, open, thoughtful, interested, empathetic, and a overall good person. But go ahead and meet me and judge for yourself! I am so interested in all sorts of people from all over the world and think that it is a necessity in life to make an effort to meet and get to know others, and thats why I'm here!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I remember having an awesome night in Geneva with a bunch of students from Singapore, eating good food, good conversations about linguistics, movies, psychology, etc. :) Hoping for much more of the same in the future!

兴趣

Books, provocative documentaries, progressive minds, thoughtful conversations, art, music, photography, etc. I spend my time journaling, writing poetry, cooking, listening to music, travelling, meditating, practicing yoga, etc.

Too much to name.... love the American classics like The Great Gatsby, Jack Kerouac and On the Road, more contemporary stuff like Life of Pi or A Thousand Splendid Suns, read a lot of psychology research articles, love documentaries especially those on nature, love classic Disney, satire (Monty Python is great), Fight Club, Jurassic Park. Don't know much about foreign films (some French like La Haine, Amelie, Le Diner de Cons, L'Auberge Espagnol) but would like to learn more/see more.
Music is too much to list... I'll name 5: Red Hot Chili Peppers, Nirvana, Sublime, Blink182, and Weezer

Travelling to a Roma village in Southern Hungary and playing games all day with the children there; Angkor Wat at sunrise; meditating in a Buddhist temple in Northern Thailand.
