ABOUT ME

Brandon: I am going to become a physician in what look to be some very interesting upcoming years for US healthcare. Getting ready for one of my very last fun & carefree summers! I am a voracious reader, love cinema, and have found a new hobby in cooking. New foods, often, are a must. I travel whenever I find that most elusive combination, time and money. Lover of single malt Scotch whisky.

Monica: I just graduated from college and will be starting to work in a neuroscience laboratory in August. I enjoy old movies, art, dance parties, basketball and hiking. Want to start gardening in the future. I enjoy building my collection of old LPs. I am a Spanish speaker and have spent ample time traveling in South America. I, too, plan to attend medical school in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We've both seen and hiked Macchu Pichu.

Brandon: Lake Titicaca's floating Islands (Peru), Dead Sea (Israel).

Monica: Iguazú Falls (Argentina/Brazil), and traveled throughout Chile, Peru, Argentina, and Brazil. I've done a few river rafting trips.

We're down to earth and easy to get along with. We are not the biggest patriots and like to prove wrong some of the stereotypes of Americans that many international folks understandably have.
