ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in the midwest, Indiana to be exact, and love it. However, I love traveling even more and my goal in life is to see as many new places, countries as I can. I graduated from Indiana State University in 2004 and worked in the insurance industry for 5 years in a cubicle. After realizing that was no the life for me, I spent a few months in Puerto Rico and then returned home to work with a friend in the granite/marble importing/wholesaling business. This has allowed me to travel more which makes my job that much better. I enjoy to stay active, work out, exercise, etc, and would rather have an adventure than a vacation. I'll relax when I'm dead. But until then, I'll try to complete my own amazing race!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point, I have a roommate that is not open the couchsurfing hosting. When I move here in the near future, I will certainly host and look forward to it. I would like to travel through South America and Europe and hope to couchsurf my way through each of the two continents!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only real couchsurfing experience I've had was this past year. I traveled down to Honduras and stayed with a customer of mine's family who I've never met and loved it. Great experience to say the least. The showed me so many things that I would have never seen had it not been for them and I will always be grateful to them for that.

Interests

I love movies, traveling, challenges, exercising, cooking, shooting guns/hunting (although I'm not a NRA radical by any means), and camping. I like to read, but I only do so when I'm traveling.

Teach, Learn, Share

I wish I had some great skill to teach. However, I am a jack of many trades but a master of none.

In terms of learning, I would love to be fluent in Spanish. That is another goal in my life. I took 3 years in high school and I've now lost it (most of it).
