CURRENT MISSION
Soak up and spread: spontaneity, conviviality, beauty, health - the good stuff
ABOUT ME
I spend my time reading, writing, outdoorsing, dancing, going to weird art shows, playin' my geetar, cooking savory meals, baking bread, concerts in troy/albany and ny, keeping warm by the fire, trampolining, diving, playing percussion with Ensemble Congeros, snowsports, springsports, kayaking, hiking, dancing, gardening, peach tree growing, juggling, skateboarding, splitting wood, camping, meetings - too many meetings!
PHILOSOPHY
I love people. All kinds, shapes, sizes, moods, ages, languages, cultures, foods and musics. Animals can make life quite wonderful as well. I love gardening and plants too. Music keeps me going and pushing me in new directions.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
since joining couchsurfing, i've stayed in about 35 cities around the country. i haven't been home long enough to host and return the karma much, so please stay! i have a couch and sometimes guest room for anyone interested in checking out ny's beautiful capital region. see a show, stop by the community bike shop, the mediasanctuary.org, etc. etc.. it's also a good place to grab a bite and some rest before heading up the the adk for some hiking.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
in siena italy the curfew was 2 a.m., which seemed impossibly early at the time, so i spent most nights for 5 weeks out in the park on the grass under the stars. did a 20 day tour of the U.S. and didn't have ONE unexceptional experience. couchsurfers have allllll been glorious!
