About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'm just sort of floating through life.
ABOUT ME
I'm pretty nerdy and shy, but I like to discover new places. I usually work a lot so when I get a chance to go out I try to do relaxing things. I'll open up once I feel more comfortable around people.
I grew up near Washington DC and highly recommend visiting if you have not. There are lots of things to do such as kayaking, museums, really good food, an awesome nightlife, and best of all metro system with what is seemingly the cesspool for weirdos!
I'm very into anything engineering related and have a passion for cars. I like most motorsports activities including track days, cruises through the mountains, and road trips. Most of my travels through the United States have been random road-trips driven (no pun intended) a craving for a certain state's known food.
I'm not really good at talking about myself in profiles, I'm much better at talking face to face or even in groups. I like listening to what people have to say and finding out about their cultures.
PHILOSOPHY
It's never rewarding to rest on fears and hesitation, if those feelings arise then it means the reward is most certainly worth taking a leap of faith.
I tread my way through life smiling but I appreciate the sorrows because I take those moments to learn from my mistakes. With that said I just want to rock-out and have fun most of the time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm new to it and haven't had any request that have fit my schedule. I look forward to hosting someone soon and would love to show people around Northern California. After-all it's not just San Francisco that matters, the entire bay area has a lot to offer.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've gone to a few meetups and they have been fruitful. I met some really cool people in Shanghai and if they ever needed a place to stay mine is open to them.
Interests
Reading technical articles while I'm at work. I find that this is more for personal gain less social traction. I really like to read into engineering articles that would require a lot of explanation, but if you want to hear about it I'm more than willing to talk about it! For instance spider silk apparently makes for a great way to manage latent heat.
I like to play video games every now and then; mainly Forza because it helps me learn how to drive Sonoma or Laguna Seca race tracks in Northern Californa.
I have a huge interest in how people interact with one another and I tend to think about it a lot. I tend to think about how cultural differences affect social interaction, how experiences elevate friendships and even how sustainable facebook only friendships are.
Competition shooting and I understand that there is a negative climate around such an activity but I choose not to participate in the negative portion of it. I do however like the muscle control, breathing, and focus that comes with doing so. I've met a lot of good people doing it and have learned a lot about my own body and physical tolerance. It's like dynamic archery to me and solely for skill/hobby/personal enjoyment. I will state again that any negative connotations that surround the tool needed for it, I try to refrain from discussing. I will listen to your opinions if you'd like to voice them, but I try to stay out of heavy debates.
I have a galore of interests that I could type, so I'll end it here. We can certainly exchange interest if we meet face to face I'm always willing to lend an ear and learn from your opinions/experiences.

Music
- I like mostly all of it: EDM, hip hop, country, it's all pretty good. I'm currently listening to Audien, his songs are awesome.
Most of what I read are engineering articles on Google scholar. I also read at lot of news, I just haven't had time recently to sit down and read a good book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Halo skydive from 31,000 feet. It's COLD up there and you need an oxygen mask. However it was beyond amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Driving! If you'd like to go to a race track let me know. I'm also always willing to share my experiences in California with others, I've found some pretty cool places since moving here.
