Overview
About Me
I am working in Kaohsiung, Taiwan as an international educator, competing in triathlons, and traveling around Taiwan and the world. I work Mondays to Friday during the day so I can only show you around the city properly on a Friday night or the weekends. My two bedroom apartment is in an excellent location in Zuoying District next to the Kaohsiung Arena station, but the sleeping accommodations are literally a couch.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am going to bike around Taiwan this summer and I would like to find some couches to sleep on as I circumnavigate Taiwan. I would also like to give back to the couch surfing community and meet some interesting people from around the world.
Interests
Climbing some of the coldest and tallest mountains in the USA with dear friends, meeting new people to have interesting conversations with, snowboarding way too fast, drooling at the work of genius architects, backpacking too far to remind myself why I got out of the USMC, walking too slowly through museums because I have to read everything, traveling to distance places on a shoestring budget, and doing more good than evil.
