ABOUT ME
I'm traveling around the US visiting friends and looking for my next home. Before the pandemic I was running a reforestation project and community in South India. I'm studying to be a therapist and am looking for where I want to make roots in the US.
PHILOSOPHY
Feel whatever you are feeling and embrace and express it fully. Accept yourself openly, accept others openly, love and smile freely. Don't think of the world in terms of "I", think of the worlds in terms of "Us" and the ways in which each of us expresses the joy and beauty of the human condition.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My couch is open to friends, and friends of friends, and now that I have access to this database, friends yet to be made. That being said, I will be couchless for a long time in my near future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My biggest stretch of couchsurfing was during the first time I left the US 9 years ago. It was a beautiful way to arrive in new places, make friends and learn about other cultures from the inside.
Interests
I'm interested in music composition as well as exploring any and all genres of music. I enjoy surfing, scuba diving, slack lining, and hiking and being around trees. I love to show care through cooking vegan food for others! I am a vipassana meditator.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am interested in reading a wide variety of books primarily including science fiction and fantasy, as well as books regarding travel, biology, ecology, and Buddhism or spirituality. I will listen to any kind of music, especially if there is a piano involved (or string instruments!). I'm particularly fond of progressive rock and 90s music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
This summer I was in Namibia helping to start a new reforestation project!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a peculiar and limited knowledge about Biology ranging from topics on algae blooms and reptiles, to evolution and sea otters. I learned a lot about how to build and maintain projects and communities as well as implement water conservation techniques. I have been studying mental health and wellness over the last few years and love to dive deep into these topics.
