About Me

Fun, outgoing, people person. Always down to have a good time.....

I work in experiential marketing. I travel constantly working major events across the country for different marketing agencies. Such events consist of:

Sporting Events: Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Finals, Stanley Cup, NCAA Final Four, Kentucky Derby, Nascar, UFC, Nitro Circus, & Olympic Trials
Music Festivals: Bonnaroo, Coachella, Warped Tour, & SXSW
Film Festivals: Sundance Film Festival
Other Events: State Fairs, Trade Shows, Marathons & Retail Events

I really love my job and enjoy being able to see what this great country of ours has to offer. I have traveled to 49/50 states and plan to go Alaska soon to complete the set. I haven't done much traveling out of the United States. I just got back from my first trip overseas and wish I didn't have to leave. Currently I'm planning a trip to Australia for 2019. Counting down the days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Rather than wasting my life inside of a hotel room vegging out in front of the TV, I prefer couchsurfing. It allows me to build friendships with interesting people, find out where all the locals hangout, and discover the hidden gems (places to go/things to see) that you won't find at the brochure case in the lobby of a hotel. I have stayed in a lot AirBnBs but I find that it is less of a personal experience than couchsurfing. My experience has been that the hosts through AirBnB either don't want to spend time hanging out to get to know each other or they are just renting the use of their residence and not even there. In my opinion Couchsurfing is by far the best way to travel. I look forward to when I finally get off the road and get a residence so I can start hosting people myself and paying it forward.
