About Me
Hey! I'm Brandon. I am currently traveling with two male friends (Bradley & Cuni)
My story:
I joined CouchSurfing in 2011 during some tough times after graduating high school. At 19. I decided to pursue a career in music instead of going to college, and as a result spent some time living out of my car, traveling up and down the West Coast.
Once I discovered CouchSurfing, I was given the incredible opportunity of having places to stay in many cities I couldn't afford a hotel. I spent 2 years traveling by car and Greyhound bus; using CS most of the way. I put on a lot of free concerts in my hosts' living rooms, and played at night to whatever venues would have me. By the middle of 2013, I was feeling pretty road worn, so I found a full time job and a place to live back in Northern, CA (Napa). Music never went out of focus, but having a full time job made it hard to fully pursue it.
I got really lucky in 2014 and one of my songs got placed into a show called "About a Boy" on NBC, and they wrote me into the script of the show. That opportunity led to a few others, which eventually gave me the chance to quit my day job in 2015 to focus on music full time.
Since then, I have been trying my best to build a following across the US. I live with my girlfriend, Alicia and our two cats; Lennon & Milo. We're currently in the process of relocating from Los Angeles to the Pacific Northwest.
This Winter, I'm traveling up the West Coast with my friend and guitarist, Cuni and my friend and videographer, Bradley. We'll be traveling for a little over a week together, playing shows and filming the experience.
I'm looking to CouchSurfing in search of a place for the three of us to stay. We are really simple, and don't mind sleeping on the floor if that's the only space available.
During our stay:
I love to wake up on the early side and go for a walk to get those lungs pumping with a cup of coffee, and I'd love to hang out before we leave for the next city!
We're all pretty mellow guys. We can keep it quiet after hours, or if you wanna hear some live music in your living room and drink red wine into the night; we can do that too!
If you'd like to hear some of my music, I go by RIVVRS. You can look me up on Spotify or iTunes, or on any of the social media sites.
If you like the music and wanna come out to a show, I can add you and a friend to the guest list, just let me know before the show!
We're playing in these places:
01/24 - Seattle, WA
01/25 - Bend, OR
01/26 - Portland, OR
01/28 - San Francisco, CA
01/29 - Santa Cruz, CA
01/31 - San Luis Obispo,CA
02/01 - San Diego, CA
02/08 - Santa Barbara, CA
02/09 - Los Angeles, CA
We look forward to meeting you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I really love meeting new people, so being a part of the CS community feels very natural to me. Despite a few hiccups during my travel experiences, I've had mostly positive experiences staying with people; and have had positive vibes from all the people I've ever hosted. As an independent musician, I often have to sacrifice comfort when traveling and sometimes sleep in my car after show nights. CouchSurfing gives me the chance to meet great people and also stay out of the cold :) a win-win.
Interests
I love to travel and get outdoors as much as possible. Camping and hiking are two of my favorite things. If it's too cold to do that, I like to cozy up indoors. I love to hang at home and read a book or watch a movie. Since I'm out of the house so much, I really enjoy my down time when I do have the chance.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Turned my passion for music into a full time living! I'm always in constant pursuit, and it's not always an easy living; but I feel so much more fulfilled doing what I love every day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some basic guitar or piano chords to learn one of your favorite songs! I can also play for you and your friends at your house if you want! Or we can just chat about life!
Also, like I said above; you can come to any show on the tour! For free. I'll add you to the guest list :)
What I Can Share with Hosts
A love for music. I can also cook up a handful of tasty meals! I'm trying to eat healthier these days, so I'm not a big meat eater; but I will happily cook anything you're into! When I'm not on a health kick, I make some of the best damn chicken parmigiana ever
