Writer looking to meet interesting characters.

Married to my junior high school sweetheart for over 20 years now. He and I are best friends and recently have become empty nesters. We're setting out to travel the world and do all the fun stuff we couldn't do when we were younger.

I'm a writer/artist/graphic designer/marketer who is pretty outgoing, laid back, and loves to have fun. I have an associates in elementary education and studied both graphic design as well as game art and design through the Art Institute. I also sing and have a very distinctive voice that people love to hear. I actually made it to the 3rd round in the XFactor competition, just before they decided who would be on the tv show.

My husband is a computer programmer/web developer/avid video game player and guitarist. He's shy and it takes him a bit to warm up to people, but once you get to know him he's funny, sweet, and loyal.

The only kind of music I don't particularly care for is rap, but only because most of it these days seems to glorify things that are destructive.
