I started a company called Adventure Nannies after 8 years of working as a self-proclaimed travel nanny. During that time, I built a reputation as an exceptional vacation nanny and soon found myself overbooked. After a few years of referring well-traveled, skilled friends to take my place on trips, I decided to launch an agency.

Before founding Adventure Nannies, I did everything I could to travel. As a nanny she went cliff diving with kids in Italy, worked on a farm in Southern France, attended Burning Man, and learned survival skills in the Rocky Mountain wilderness. When I wasn’t traveling with families, I traveled frequently to the Caucus Mountains of Georgia, and worked as a kayak and swimming instructor in Maryland. I live in Denver, CO with my husband and three dogs. When I'm not at the office, I'm out on the road with her husband’s band!
