About Me

Due the new CouchSurfing policy some of my hosts references ended up in Personal tab. So check them out there.

Dear reader. Food, travel, craft beer, wine, music, running, hiking, cycling, life, .... lover here.
Who also loves to write & talk about all that stuff. I have my own blog called foodwinebeer ( no logic to call blog on Croatian language with English words, but well...)
Here and there I write for the Croatian travel site Travelholics ( http://www.putoholicari.com/ ) & with few craft beer lovers for Croatian beer web site called Pivarium.
I love to cook also. All kinds of dishes. Trying not to burn down the kitchen. And I would love to learn more about the international cuisine.
I'm an active and nature person. I like running, cycling, hiking and spending my free time in the nature.
Also I'm learning to play the guitar. I need more practice for sure, but I will get there. Music is a medicine.
So are the books. I love reading. Specially J.R.R.Tolkien.
Also I'm doing some volunteer work in my home town as a president of a Youth Culture Center. Our main mission is to develop social and cultural youth life in Kutina. We are organizing workshops, concerts, book presentations, lectures, youth exchanges...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

There is something interesting in meeting new people, "walk in their shoes" through the town, exchange experiences, stories and getting lost with them in the city.
Currently can't offer you a place to stay, but if you are in Croatia, specially in Zagreb, I can jump in with an advice for a good food, craft beer and wine. So, feel free to send me a message. Maybe we can meet up or something.

Interests

Music, adventure, reading, learning new things, meeting interesting people, travelling, hanging out with my friends, enjoying good food, wine and beer. Hedonism to the max :)

I like good comedies ( Monty Python, Fawlty Towers, ...) , thrillers, specially physiological ( Silence of the Lambs, Shutter island, Inception...) One of the best movies that I have watched is "Walk the line".
Books: George R.R. Martin: "The Armageddon Rag" , Ronan Bennett: " Zugzwang", authors like Jo Nesbo, J.R.R. Tolkien, ...
One of my best travelling book, and the book that got me into the CS is from one of the best Croatian CS -er Tomislav Perko called 1000 Days of Spring. https://tomislavperko.com/en/shop/1000-days-of-spring-book/

Amazing trip to Prague with my friends that was an eye opener and some kind of a turning point in my life.
