About Me

CURRENT MISSION

living each day like it's all I've got

ABOUT ME

It's always difficult to say something about yourself out of a blank, but I guess I can say that I come from a big family so I'm used to sharing and being sensitive to other people's needs. Always looking for new challenges and adventures, making new friendships but always keeping the old friends as well. Maybe a bit shy in the beginning but quite open when you get to know me.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't really have a personal philosophy – too many filosophers and too little do-ers on this planet. I guess I'm pursuing happiness (as everybody else, but) through relation with people around me. Everything is so much better when done together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about CS couple of years ago, created a profile, and started spotting some surf waves. Had a couple of very fun cs experiences and met some very cool people. Still lookin' out for the waves :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In 2010, me and my friend Nevena decided to go on a euro trip (Slovenia->Italy->France). I've tried to contact some of the CS members to meet with during this trip but no one gave an affirmative answer. So we went anyway, slept in the car and so on. However, it seemed it was destiny to hook up with some couchsurfers since we met Lucy by chance in Genova. From that point, our mutual adventure had begun.

Interests

Film (wathcing & making), music (usually just listening :), doing anything that's creative, learning about things I like, swimming, riding bicycle, dancing, winter activities (sleigh riding, snow balling...), learning new languages, taking pictures using an old analog camera, baking, cooking, laughing, making people laugh...

Music, Movies, and Books

The Matrix, The Beach, The Million dollar hotel, Pi, The Hunger, Requiem for a dream, Edward Scissorhands, Jules et Jim, The Fountain, Fear & loathing in Las Vegas, Mar Adentro, Vanilla sky, Fight club, Lock stock & 2 smoking barrels... just to name a few

When it comes to music I really enjoy all kinds of different things, depending on the mood and the period I'm in. Always willing to discover something new.

And here's a couple of books I really enjoyed:
Sidharta by Herman Hesse
The Garden by Halil Jubran
The Beach by Alex Garland
Dreamcatcher by Steven King
Narziss and Goldmund by Herman Hesse

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Feeling the freedom. Detaching from material things that bind us. It's so good when you realize you don't need much at all to enjoy your day/life.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm happy to share any of my knowledge about film and talk about the experience I had. Also I can teach you the basic moves of Capoeira, how to use an analog camera, roll a cigarette or play piano badly ;)

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Montenegro

Countries I’ve Lived In
