CURRENT MISSION
Spread the joy of cosmopolitanism
ABOUT ME
I moved from Germany to the USA in 2001 to live with my boyfriend. All my life I have lived in different countries for several years, which I prefer to travelling as a tourist, but alas, even I won't live long enough to be able to live in each country of the world.
My list of places to visit in the US is still quite long and I'm looking forward to connecting a face to each respective city or region by using CS.
PHILOSOPHY
Going from one place to another and being asked very often which place I liked best or better, I realized that "You win and loose wherever you go" and it's up to me to focus on the winning part of wherever I am.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Colorado Springs might not be a cultural hotbed, but certainly a good point to start off any type of outdoors enjoyment. To start with: Colorado has 54 mountains above 14,000 feet, that should keep you busy for a while. I'll be glad to point out all the other possibilities I know of.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed at/with two wonderful CS'ers in Albuquerque/NM and Big Water/UT in the summer of 2008 and am looking forward to move to a place that might be more appealing for others to visit AND have a couch to offer myself!
Interests
Design, languagues, financial topics, politics, comedy...maybe the last two are the same? I'm always open to new subjects when I meet knowledgeable people - e.g. antiques, Disney, aviation - what's your forte?
- design
- aviation
- politics
- traveling
- outdoor activities
- mountains
