ABOUT ME

I am a curious, talkative, caring, social and outgoing person. Born in Rio de Janeiro and raised in Sao Paulo, I now live in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. I have studied, lived, worked, been a missionary and traveled to several countries in the world…My greatest passions are traveling, learning languages, singing and playing piano. I love meeting new people from all over the world! I work with development cooperation at the British Council in Brazil.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is about discovering and valuing yourself and other people, places, and things along the way. So…hakuna matata! Carpe diem!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am joining CS2 today (06 July 2008)! I am looking forward to hosting and meeting new people, making friends and traveling around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went backpacking in Scandinavia for a month in July 2008 and had my first couchsurfing experiences! I am soooo glad I joined this community. I love couchsurfing.com and am recommending it to many friends.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Since I have studied foreign languages in Bolivia, French Guyana, France, USA, South Africa and Italy, I had the chance to learn and travel a lot! I have also been a missionary/volunteer in Rwanda (Africa) and Taiwan (Asia) as well as been a trainee at the EU in Belgium… Some interesting experiences I had in my life: hiked the Kilimanjaro, rafted the Nile river, visited Zanzibar, went on safaris all over in Africa, taught English to Taiwanese children, etc, etc….

Teach, Learn, Share

I have played classic piano and flute for several years. I also sing in a youth choir in Brazil (200 voices). So, I am a music lover! Learnt several languages as well, apart from Portuguese, my mother tongue...An experienced traveler who is always looking for new opportunities and different experiences.
