My name is Bárbara
I love the sun, but that's probably due to the fact that I never had any snow growing up! I have to say that after living for a while in a place with snow... I admit it : It's not winter if there is now snow!!!
It's very hard for me to live without good coffee (caffeine addict that I am), so I am always up to grabbing a cup of that sweet nectar with you.
People would say that I'm a social being, that enjoys a good conversation with a nice drink (beer/wine/coffee) on the side, but mostly I just enjoy getting to know new people and having a good laugh! That's the main reason why I travel.... well that and the amazing sites obviously :P

Nothing like a good dance to keep away the bad vibes !! So whenever i am feeling down i just make a little dance and keep the good times rooling :P

I’m always available to show wherever I’m at around! Show the touristic places and the ones only locals go to, where to party, where to chill, breathtaking views… you name it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It was the Summer of 2012 and me and my polish roommate in Macau (we were doing a summer internship there) had decided to visit Mainland China (as locals in Macau call it)! She had this CS account she had never used, but she decided to try it out… later we talked with a Japanese guy who was also doing the internship with us and he accepted the challenge… all we needed was a host… and lucky us! We found one! It really was amazing and after that I just had to sign up to CS ;)
That's how it started ;)

Interests

Bookworm and damn proud of it!
Tv series and movies are a declared hobby and I just can't live without my music :D I can however manage without my pc (for a few days and in case of extreme necessity)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When i went to China seeing the sun rise over the rice fields in dragons backbone...
In Portugal no doubt i'd have to choose the Costa Vicentina! Driving around with my friends from one beach to another and seeing those amazing views it's just one of my favourite moments :)
