ABOUT ME

Born and raised California...transplanted myself in Brooklyn, NY...got restless with my job and decided the one thing I missed out on after college and the one thing I still desired to do was play water polo overseas. Now I'm living in Holland, playing water polo, and hoping to see the parts of Europe I haven't seen.

PHILOSOPHY

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Signed up a few years back after my friend traveling through southeast asia told me about CS. Found out this spring when I cross country roadtripped through the South of the US, that apparently I didn't completely sign up...but now I'm back and ready to get going.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: The Royal Tennenbaums, along with other Wes Anderson Films, Woody Allen films, Coen Brothers, the Kill Bills, Documentaries, Indie Films.

Music: currently digging the electronic pop/rock... Justice, Chromeo, Does it Offend You Yeah?, etc. In general a fan of most music ranging from Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Janis Joplin, CCR, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, Theivery Corporation, Silversun Pickups, Federico Aubele, The Sounds, The Kooks, The Streets, The White Stripes, The Dead Weather, Of Montreal, Fiona Apple, Mason Jennings, Public Enemy, MIA, Santogold, Girl Talk, MGMT, Springsteen, The Cure, David Bowie, Johnny Cash, Feist, Built to Spill, Pavement, Blue Scholars, The Faint, Cake, Ben Kweller, ALL of the Golden Oldies- Supremes, Temptations, Buddy Holly, etc. The list could go on for days, but you got the picture.
