Hoping to meet new people and immerse myself in different cultures.

兴趣

I like to explore new cities and Journal whilst I do so. I enjoy taking photo's and I really enjoy being in nature. While in Berlin my favourite thing was definitely the Botanical Gardens and Botanical Museum. I love wandering and discovering funky bars and cafe's. So far the river/canal of every major city I've been in has amazed me at night.

Music; It's very varied but all time favourites are Patti Smith (thanks mum), The Black Keys, The Arcs, Janis Joplin, Van Morrison, Andy Shauf, The Galloping Foxley's, The Murlocs. There's a really vibrant music scene where I live in Fremantle so no matter your taste I could likely recommend some amazing local bands/artists.

Movies; I'm not a huge movie buff because I didn't grow up with television but I like anything Tim Burton does! I tend not to watch block buster films as I find them really contrived.

Books; I have a rule, I only ever read books that are recommended and/or lent to me! My favourite book from childhood is the little prince!

I was a station hand on a cattle property for a couple of years and I also partly grew up on an Oyster farm in Denial Bay, SA.

Teach: I wouldn't say I have a primary talent that can be shared but I like to consider myself a well rounded person. I am fluent in English, which, embarrassingly is my first and only language but I can help you submerse yourself in the language for the duration of my stay!

Learn: I would like to learn about Parisian culture beyond what we see in the movies!

Share:I can share stories of an interesting upbringing! I've grown up by the sea, in the desert, on a cattle farm. Constantly moving! I can also make a great salad ( it's my signature salad at home).

The real culture of Australia lies within the original Aboriginal custodians of the land but I can talk about the beauty of Australia for days! I enjoy music, art, anything creative so I can offer sharing of stories and music and art :)
