About Me
My name is Bre and I am from Alabama in the United States. I have lived in Ecuador for 10 months and hope to live abroad more in the future. However, for now, I am traveling with the girl I am dating who is also one of my best friends and we are seeing as much as Europe as possible while trying to make our experiences last and not rushing from one place to another.
We aren't so much backpacking, but rather seeing where our experiences take us and so far we have loved staying with natives in their homes and learning from them.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My love for people and travel equals out, so I figured this would be a cool way to meet new people and see the world. I am passionate about foreign cultures, food, and languages in addition to seeing new places.
I have been in Norway for a friend's wedding, but stayed an additional two weeks with a beautiful family in the countryside.
Right now, my girlfriend and I are heading to London and then down to Italy for some Workaway opportunities. Most likely Spain after that. We are just kind of being spontaneous and seeing what doors open.
However, although we love hostels, staying with this family in Norway gave us new perspective and made us want to try out Couchsurfing! There is something intimate and extravagant about someone opening up their home to you and we have been really blown away by the connection that can be created in the process. With that being said, we are excited to meet new people and learn about your culture, family, language and anything else you are eager to share.
(We aren't hosting anyone currently because 1. She lives in Ohio and I live in Alabama, but also 2. we are traveling for a few months so right now we are unable to host.)

I taught English in an Ecuadorian juvenile prison and would be happy to teach anyone willing to learn. I'm currently working on Spanish (as of right now I am conversational) and hope to eventually become fluent.
