ABOUT ME

I am most importantly a mama to 2 wonderful children, 2 years old and 8 years old. I'm also an artist and art teacher. My husband and I moved from Nashville,TN to rural TN for me to attend art school. I went to art school and never really came back. We bought some land near a little craft college in middle TN called the Appalachian Center for Craft. We have 21 acres and a cool old farm house that's been a serious labor of love. In between being a working artist,teacher, and mother, I like to can food, pick berries, play with my children, see live music, travel to new places, and make things of all sorts. My husband and I work really hard to we can play hard. We were both fortunate enough to travel a lot as young adults. We've wandered around this country seeing great music and have landed in a beautiful place! We now get to travel locally and occasionally take big trips.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We plan to do some traveling with our children. We would like to couch surf occasionally to meet other creative types.

Live music is best.

Food is one our main interests. We grow much of our food and would like to get better and better at this. I like to know where my food comes from and who grew it.

Art! is powerful, truthful, emotional, necessary, and endless. I create not because I want to but because I have to.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I grew and birthed 2 babies weighing 9.13 and 9.14 lbs! Yes, it was more than amazing! My greatest accomplishment.
