About Me
Hey friends!
My name is Bree and I am a 20 year old born and raised in Colorado, USA. I am currently in my third year of college majoring in Social Work and Criminal Justice and loving it. One day, I hope to do rehabilitation and restorative justice work with people in prisons or jails.
In my free time I love to see live music, go to coffee shops, throw pottery, take pictures, hang out with friends (and meet new ones!), have philosophical conversations and simply have fun!
I also love to meet new people and learn from their unique ways of thinking and living. A value I hold close is open mindedness; I grow through the perspectives of other people. This is one of the many reasons I love to travel. I hope to never stop experiencing new things, meeting new people, learning new skills, and having chances to broaden my worldview!

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to all kinds of music anywhere from bluegrass to hip hop/rap, indie folk to classic rock and oldies, I love it all! Some of my favorite artists include Chance the Rapper, the Lumineers, Beyonce, Elvis Presley, George Ezra, John Denver and The Head and The Heart but nothing is better than watching live music of any kind!
Some movies I could watch over and over are Mr. Nobody, Alive Inside, The Grinch, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory
My favorite books are the Hunger Games series
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Over Spring break of 2015 I visited San Quentin prison in San Francisco, California with a group of fellow CSU students where we were given a tour by 6 people who were sentenced to life in prison when they were juveniles. This was a life changing experience, and not something that many people would ever think of doing.
