ABOUT ME

I'm 25. I live in LA, I teach high school physics, and I'm in the process of packing. I'm traveling to Scandinavia this summer for a few weeks with a friend, and then I'm going to backpack around to who-knows-where by myself for a few more. Then I'll be moving to DC where hopefully I can find a job in public policy or consulting. Mostly though I hope I find a good network of fabulous people out there.

I grew up in Chicago, and I went to college at UPenn in Philly. I was an actress for 6 months out here, but I hated the lifestyle. Who knew?

I really like animals. I also really like going fast - be it in cars, motorcycles, on horses, in speed boats, and sometimes in life :)

I've only had the informal kind of staying with friends in between leases and having friends stay with me.

I usually don't really enjoy watching movies. My mind wanders or I would rather be talking to the person next to me. But I did really enjoy It's A Wonderful Life, Manhattan Murder Mystery, Gia, The Graduate, Erin Brockovich, Maria Full of Grace.

I actually don't usually enjoy books for the same reason. I know it's weird. But I do enjoy Malcolm Gladwell's books, and Neruda's poetry.

Sitting in the back of a pickup going 80 in the empty, expansive Atacama desert in northern Chile. Sun was setting, had some amazing people with me. Wind from every direction :)
