I am currently teaching English in Khartoum, Sudan but will soon be relocating to Tokyo, Japan. I am sort of an adventurer. Really, I just want to see some of the world before I can't resist the urge to have a normal life anymore. I travel solo but I like to meet new people and learn about new cultures vastly different from mine (hence Sudan). I have a nice grasp on Japanese and Arabic, which hopefully help me connect with other more!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Having lived in a foreign country for a year I know that nothing compares to the experience of the everyday person living in a place. I really like learning and feeling places and so I think couchsurfing will give me an awesome opportunity to do so.

My favorite music is generally from the rhythm and blue category, but I also get down to some hip hop, pop and alternative.

My favorite movies are usually comedies.

Lately I have been reading historical book but I usually read fictional books.
