My three favorite things are music, travel and photography. I chase after my goals and never give up until I've reached them. My #1 goal is to visit every corner of the globe.

In my spare time I love to wander around taking photos, get lost in a great book, go to concerts, surf, hike, and of course travel to distant lands!

I currently live in Los Angeles, CA.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have hosted people and surfed and I've made lifelong friends through CS and it's been an amazing experience all around.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a few incredible surfers when I was able, and I've slept on couches on 3 road trips across America in 2010 & 2012 (Chicago, NYC) and I've Couchsurfed on journeys all across Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, the continental US and Hawaii! Most of my experiences with CS have been great, the others have been a good learning experience at least!!

**Note to male surfers and hosts: I do not view Couchsurfing as a dating site. I believe dating sites are for dating, Couchsurfing is for couchsurfing. I suggest trying out Tinder, OkCupid, eHarmony, etc for dating :) Please treat me like you would your sister... thanks :)

Port-au-Prince, Haiti a few months after the earthquake. Arenal volcano eruption in Costa Rica. Top of the World Trade Center 9 months before 9/11. Seeing and helping to operate the first clean water well in a village in northern Togo, Africa the day it was opened. Van getting stuck in a river after a massive rainstorm a few days later, waiting for our driver to find a tractor in a nearby village to pull us out while military officials guarded us from being ambushed and robbed. Northern Lights in Tromso, Norway.

I would love to teach photography or videography to anyone wanting to learn. I can also teach web/graphic design although that is pretty time-intensive. I can offer advice about photo/video gear. I've also worked in the music and film industries in Los Angeles and NYC and can offer info about that. I'm a huge book nerd and can recommend lots of great books under all topics.
