About Me

Hi I'm Brena!

I'm Brazilian and I currently share an apartment with two colleagues in the city of Fortaleza, Ceará. When I was a child, with my parents, we traveled every year and these are the best stories I have had with them. Discovering the world, broadening my vision, having experiences, and getting to know different cultures became a desire after living in Spain for while. What makes me happy is being able to learn from others and discover how we can be less prejudiced and more free. My best friends I met traveling, on workin' at ONG, on exchanges and art and creation courses. I really like dancing, cycling, painting, writing, surfing, festivals and cultural topics.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I want to broaden my view of the world, meet people who are also looking to get to know each other and experience new things. I'm here because it seems to me to be the place with the people most aligned with the same goal as me. And of course, being able to travel more and receive people in my house where I can show how wonderful Ceará (Brazil) is.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I worked in an art gallery in Medellín, Colombia with 6 other exchange students from different countries. We went to hold a cultural event called Noite do Fogo. It was an incredible opportunity to live with different people, create works together and get to know the culture of Colombia. It was an experience where I was able to learn and get out of my comfort zone.
