About Me
Hey there,
my name is Brenda. Im a 21 year old german girl currently finding out what makes me happy.
I'd say I'm a friendly and open minded person what made it easy to me to get to know new people during my travels so far. People tell me to be a person one comes along with really easy since I absolutely enjoy company sometimes, appreciate and accept personal space if needed though. I kinda grew up by traveling since my parents have been (and still are) interested in meeting new people while visiting different countries around the world.
After I've graduated from school last year I decided to take a gap year since I was first of all not sure about what to start with; and more not interested in starting studying in general. I rather want to travel around and get to know new people, I also want to broaden my mind, my point of view (so far) as well as my knowledge about different cultures. And I want to enjoy tasty food and good drinks with nice and interesting people 😋
While traveling around I've decided to take another gap year since I'm still not sure what I want to start with. In my opinion it makes no sense to start something just because the society wants me to after the first gap year. I want to be more secure about my interests; that's why I'm also planing to do some internships during my second gap year.
Well I hope now you've got at least enough information about me to think about hosting me; however I wanted to leave some things I can tell you when meeting! I'm looking forward to getting to know you 🤗
If there is still anything you want to know before : Feel free to ask whatever comes to your mind as long as you know you could give a propper answer to that question if you was me.
Greetings 💃🤙
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The first time I've tried couchsurfing was when I did a short trip to Austria and Switzerland during the weekend. Me and my best friend had a great time; maybe it's about the first positive experience why I got interested in doing more trips while using couchsurfing. And the more - of course since I've been working during school times - because one can safe a little money for accommodation. Instead I really love to investigate money in good food and nice drinks what I can hopefully share with my host/guest.
I like the idea of staying at a local's place. Anyway I know what it means.. it is a big present to be allowed to get an kinda insight in a stranger's life. That's why I always try to really explain myself; it's just what I expect from people asking me to host them!
What it all comes down to: couchsurfing to me means broaden my experiences. And life is about experiences and finding out different ways how to handle situations; both; good and bad ones.
