Overview
About Me
I'm a 29 year old from the United States and am leaving for my longest trip yet in June, 2016. Aside from travel, my hobbies include: craft beer, reading, writing, craft beer, cycling, hiking, craft beer, very amateurish photography and food…any food.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Meeting new people and experiencing new countries the way locals experience them, or at least as close to it as possible.
Also, my hometown (San Diego, California in the Unites States) has a lot to offer in terms of food, great beer, activities and scenery and I love getting the opportunity to show others all of that.
Interests
I'm currently trying to learn the ins and out of photography and how my camera works and am in awe of those who've mastered the art.

Music, Movies, and Books
I can- and do- read anything Andy Borowitz and have always loved political satire. I think I might be developing a more advanced- and worldly- sense of humor thanks to The Daily Beast.
And Steve Martin's novellas; who knew just how well that man understood the inner workings of the twenty-something female brain.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I completed a triathlon (barely) and have not stopped talking about it since.
Teach, Learn, Share
In preparation for an extended backpacking trip through Iceland and Western Europe (June-Oct of 2016) I've been pouring over travel blogs and always appreciate any travel advice anyone can offer.
If you are in San Diego and wanting to explore anything from the beaches to the best restaurants and breweries I, and my like-minded friends, would love to show you around!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to cook for others and am particularly (by way of having grown up just ten minutes from the Mexican-American border) good at traditional Mexican food.
Countries I’ve Visited
Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands
