About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To bring success to people through their written expression. To be good to my friends, the earth, and myself.
ABOUT ME
I'm a somewhat quirky and alternative yet somewhat serious person who can go to a barefoot dance or raw food potluck on one day and write a resume for an Executive in International Business the next. I'm not vegetarian but I'm veggie-friendly and eat a lot of kale! I'm a really good editor, which is fortunate given my profession. Love swimming, yoga, and dancing. If I'm staying in your house I might clean for you, if you want. I figure I'd be cleaning at home so why not leave a place as good as or better than I found it?
PHILOSOPHY
I really do believe that if I am clear enough about what I want to create, and I do not have any doubt but that it will show up, then it will show up. I believe this about places to stay while traveling :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted a few people through couch surfing... all good experiences but now I have a roommate in my couch surfing room so I've been the surfer more than the host. I've made some great connections with my hosts and have also had some challenges with last minute cancellations ... My last host offered for me to share in his Ramadan meal with friends, which was awesome. I have not lost my sense of adventure!

Music, Movies, and Books
First Dates is my favorite new show. That and Designated Survivor. I will never forgive my nephew for getting me hooked on that. I also listen to a lot of books on tape while I'm driving. Celebrity/politician biographies are some of my favorites, or other true stories of people's lives and adventures.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I drove across the country by myself when I was 23. I discovered I was very impressed with things I did not think would impress me: Mt. Rushmore and Old Faithful to name two. I think I almost went mad driving north through Nebraska. But I made it through alive.
Teach, Learn, Share
I know a bunch about cleansing and eating healthy. A little bit about gardening. A lot about resume writing and LinkedIn, and writing in general. I'm a pretty good cook.
