I am currently teaching english as a second language in South Korea. I just arrived to Korea in October of 2015 and I will be here for at least one year, maybe longer. I am originally from the USA, I was born in upstate New York and most recently lived in Portland, Oregon. In the USA I was working as a field archaeologist.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm couchsurfing to meet some new people and to offer a place to stay for people interested in coming to the part of the world I live in. In return I hope that I will encounter the same hospitality in the parts of the world that I am trying to go to.

Interests

I am an amatuer guitarist, music is one of the greatest creations humans have accomplished. I love a good hike and a solid adventure.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I love rock music, classic, alternative and indie. Some of my favorite groups include Modest Mouse, The Beatles, The Clash, and The Talking Heads. I also love hip hop folks with hella flow, bluegrass and folk.

Movies: Forest Gump, Quinten Tarantino fims.

Books: "Siddhartha"," The Alchemist", "Life of Pi" to name a few. Currently working on the "Game of Thrones" series.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a studio apt in Changwon and I sleep on a thin mat on the floor of the apartment. I have 2 of these mats and one of them if free to anyone of you who is interested in using it.
