About Me
Born in Seattle, raised in Scotland. I'm weaving my way in to the energy industry, focusing on solar power research or project feasibility/design.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I live in thirst of new experiences, and to learn from all my experiences and everyone I meet. Everyone has a unique perspective to offer whether they realise it or not. Adventure is the epitome of going out in to the unknown and experiencing something new. Most often I go out in the wild for my adventures, and recently have began to discover just how much nature has to teach us. All you have to do is sit down and watch for a little while. However, cities too have a lot to offer, and we can learn about ourselves and what influences our current form through them. Cities too are a part of nature, just like ant-hills and rabbit warrens, our cities are born from the same ingredients as are available to the other species on our planet

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I cycled from London to Zurich in 2014. Over the course of a month my Flatmate and I made our way into France, up the north coast to Belgium, and dipped in to Holland, before joining the Rhine in Cologne and following it to Switzerland. Our accommodation was a mixture of wild camping and couch surfing hosts. This trip was my first exposure to the couch surfing community, and I had such a lovely experience with the people I met and stayed with that I'm keen to see who else I can meet from the community.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have much to share on the subject of sustainability and permaculture with anyone thats interested. I also enjoy delving in to the occasional philosophical chat inspired by quantum mechanics and religious philosophy (such as that of Buddhism and Hinduism)
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good food, local folk lore, music, the sites of Glasgow City, stories, long evenings, outdoor pursuits
