About Me

I would like to think that I am an optimistic fellow...one who is genuinely curious about life.

If I could, I would spend the rest of my days looking and dis-covering the ways of nature.... Perhaps in doing so, I might naturally become a part of it.

I am now a father, and very happy to be one. Sharing this life with another curious little soul has brought me closer to all the others out there who have taken on that difficult, yet rewarding responsibility.

I am grateful for life....and remain in wonder at its unfolding.

Thanks for being open enough to open your door to a stranger...it certainly makes this world a nicer place to be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Perhaps because places are made up of stories.

Without others, we might think this story is all ours.

I'd like to think that traveling is about adopting new perspectives.

Meeting others is a great way to get into a place...a great way to see beyond the expected.

Hosting others, is a way of sharing your love for a place...opening up your discoveries to others.

We can learn a lot about where we are at by listening...

Guests can become great reflectors.

Interests

Hmm, most things.....really.

Perhaps my greatest interest is to be in the moment,
to soak up life in all its fullness.

Like the director....seeing his movie without input,
just watching....letting it all unfold.

------------------------------------------

Given this, I appreciate others ways of seeing,

from Film, to Art, Music, to Craft.......

Whatever someone else decides to really go for in life.

I guess when others are genuine, I am quick to find the interest.

And even when they are not, I do my best to make an effort.

Ok, maybe that's two.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn to teach, then share.

Learn to share, then teach?

How about....

Share to learn, and in doing so, teach.
