About Me
I love exploring, whether it's new activities, places or cultures. I'm trying to learn home brewing and the mandolin - the beer's pretty good but the music's on its way. Love cooking, eating and drinking with good friends (who doesn't?) or getting out to hike and camp as much as possible. Just finished grad school in Budapest and wandering around the Balkans for a bit!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My favorite part of traveling is not just seeing the sights, but getting to connect with people along the way. Couchsurfing is a great way to connect with folks and makes traveling a lot more fun (and a lot easier!). I try to be aware of different cultures and personal expectations, so can be a quiet and respectful guest or happy to hang with hosts if you're around. Can whip up a decent meal too!
Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up in California to the sounds of Grateful Dead, Tupac, and CCR. Love folk, classic rock and hip-hop.
My reading tends to be Kurt Vonnegut or Terry Pratchett - all weirdly fun and satirical stories!
Favorite movies include the Big Lebowski, Snatch, and Grand Budapest Hotel. But pretty open to watching anything.
