About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to be able to travel the world and make money in the process. So far, believe it or not the former has been easier than the latter, but slowly things are coming together. I am a writer with a propensity for making my own good time wherever I go.
ABOUT ME
I like to travel, I also like to work. Thus I'm currently working towards bringing the two together. I also like to read, learn, meet interesting people, try new thing's. I am a big music person and I play a few instruments, I like healthy living and that kinda good stuff, I like philosophy, zen, meditation and all that good stuff as well.
Really, I like to think of myself as quite a simple person. I enjoy looking at life a little bit differently, and am not afraid to blaze my own trail.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing because I love to travel and I love to meet interesting people, so what better place to be... Also of course, finding a nice place to stay in the process always helps as well.
Currently I am driving around the U.S., having left PA in mid Feb. Really enjoying taking in all the sites and meeting so many cool people along the way.
Interests
Learning, travel, nature, philosophy, business... to be honest, my interests span a great range of anything, and I actually pride myself on being able to find the "interesting" in pretty much everything. Some of my more obscure interest include mushrooms, ancient teachings, foraging, tai chi

Music, Movies, and Books
I grew up playing classical music, and listening to classical rock. These days, I listen to all types of music, and I am not just saying that. I particularly enjoy more folky and grassy type music as of late. I still really enjoy playing classical music (piano) and like to fool around on other instruments as well like the harmonica, tin whistle, drums, guitar, and of course garage-band (for those who use macs and are familiar)
I am not too big on movies and television, though for the sake of getting to know me I will mention that I often enjoy watching film from a students perspective, and trying to breakdown how it all comes together from the producers, to director, to actors and actresses and so on. might sound strange, maybe even lame, but i actually enjoy the business aspect of the tv and film industry as it fascinates me to no end.
I like to read mostly non-fiction, but I do enjoy the occasional fiction work, and in fact am currently reading "The Seeds of Time" which is an interesting science fiction read from the mid 1900's. My favorite book of all time, was actually a thin little book very few people have ever heard of called "Illusions" by a man named Richard Bach.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Diving with hammerheads in Layang Layang. Seeing komodo dragon's up close and personal on Komodo Island.
(what can I say, I like animals and nature)
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share with hosts a bunch of strange random information that I for some reason have felt inclined to store in what little space my brain has provided me with... But seriously, It's hard to say what one can share without knowing what another is open to receiving, but.. I can cook! so can safely say I would be happy to share food and some meals cooked by yours truly with you.
