About Me

ABOUT ME

I'm a photographer and a teacher living in Devon, England (the beautiful, beautiful West Country). I've travelled a fair bit & hope to do much more if the years to come treat me as well as those have so far. I generally like meeting new people and making the most of what life throws this way...

PHILOSOPHY

why do today what you can put off till tomorrow

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sun coming up over Machu Picchu after 3 days of trekking was pretty amazing but a bit obvious I suppose.... Watching The Thievery Corporation by a lake in a derelict amphitheatre in Portugal is well up there.... Oh and hitchhiking across the states last summer was an epic experience

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose photography is my true love. (+ climbing trees, wild swimming and 80's movies). I have a special interest in landscape photography, but not the cheesy sunset over the ocean stuff. More politically and socially aware work by photographers like Richard Misrach, Axel Hutte, Elger Esser, Alec Soth, Nadev Kander, Joel Sternfeld, Stephen Shore, Jem Southam. I also like Wolfgang Tilman, Jurgen Teller, Ryan McGinley, David Hilliard, Sally Mann, Martin Parr, The Bechers, Robert Adams etc...

I'm not a bad cook, so would be happy to repay your couch use by cooking diner?!
