About Me

http://vehemence-41.deviantart.com/
https://tapas.io/mevermore/series

I am an Australian university student that is currently studying Chinese (Mandarin) and Linguistics.
I hope to visit all seven continents and eat my way around South East Asia, by starting with a Ramen tour in Japan.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was recommended by friends to check out Couchsurfing the firsts time I went to Taiwan.
I enjoy eating and meeting people the most about traveling, so being among the culture is really important for me.

Interests

I ended listing up way too many interests, haha, but I really like languages because it helps show how other cultures think. I grew up reading a lot of manga like Fullmetal Alchemist, Dragon Ball and Mushishi. I wanted to be a manga artist when I grew up but now I'm content just reading comics.

Music, Movies, and Books

🎵 I tend to be a big fan of loud screamy music like: One Ok Rock, Maximum the Hormone and Lonely the Brave. 🎞️ I went through a phase of watching Korean horror movies like: I Saw the Devil and Truck. I really love psychological horror. 📖 Being at uni means the only time I really tend to read is compulsory reading material.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I know this might sound cheap to some people but... I've not done any physically amazing feats. A couple of years ago I went through a pretty bad depression and I'd like to think that it's not the big feats we accomplish but the everyday small feats that make us amazing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd like to be able to share with people my art and language skills, but also my time.
My cooking skills aren't great, but I can make some Japanese or Chinese dishes for you.
Or perhaps you are interested in the famous Australian Vegemite Sandwich?! 😉✨
