About Me
Hey pals! I'm a Kiwi writer and journo getting out of my comfort zone and trying to see some of the wonders of Europe since about mid-way through last year. I'm travelling with my girlfriend Uella, and we've been doing the classic New Zealand rite of passage that is the UK working holiday. It's been an absolute blast so far and we managed to see a dozen or so countries before settling into various jobs in hospitality, publishing and childcare to try and generate a bit more in the travel fund.
I hosted a handful of weary travellers back home when I lived in Te Anau, the gateway to Fiordland National Park and Milford Sound, the jewels in the crown of picturesque New Zealand tourism! Being able to offer that place to crash, to clean, to eat and to relax is a great experience and I've since enjoyed being on the receiving end of some really incredible hospitality from CS hosts on this side of the world.
I look forward to maybe meeting you and sharing a beer and some insights on this lovely little life!
