My friends would say that I'm a go for it kind of person. Whether it be hitchhiking with strangers or cliff diving into lakes, I'm always excited to try something new and so far luck has been on my side.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I once hitchhiked with a stranger after a hiking in New England. Three months later, I went to a party where I found the guy who picked me up. We both recognized each other and proceeded to have a really fun night.

In New Zealand, there is a beautiful beach called Cathedral Cove with the most unbelievable landforms due to erosion. It is about a mile hike to the beach, and once the path opens up it feels like you enter paradise. I could spend weeks living on that beach.

In Italy, we happened to be staying in Cinque Terre the night of the biggest local holiday of the year. I forget what it was called but it was a day to commemorate lost loved ones. First, there was a massive bonfire on the beach that must have been three stories tall. Next, the most unbelievable fireworks display was set off over the ocean. But the most amazing part of the night came last. Every member of the village lit a candle, and let it float off to sea in remembrance of a lost loved one. It was the most beautiful and emotional gathering I have ever been a part of.
