About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find a home that has enough nature & culture access in the UK. Bristol? Oxford? ?????

ABOUT ME

Squeaky, geeky, fun.. sometimes high, sometimes low key..
I love to dance but Not clubs so much any more. Contact improv jams or barefoot boogie-type scenes are better for relating and being playful with people.
I try to do my yoga practice.. I'm not always successful.
I am quite tidy with my things. Even in my own home.
I am an actor and might be involved with some practice that requires vocalization in private. So I sometimes need to continue doing my thing while traveling.
I like to see a city from a historic or, perhaps, my own fantasy perspective rather than simply a social space of activities and gatherings. This allows me to give more of my creative self to social space and gatherings.
I am actually quite low-key and grounded. Sometimes very quiet.

PHILOSOPHY

Give something (material; a flower or sweet or in words) to everyone you meet. Try not to pass judgement on anything throughout your days. Make life a creative adventure by paying attention to what's happening and what is possible in each moment. Do not be afraid not to know. Contribute something.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a visiting guest I want clear and thorough communication from the very beginning because it sets out what's to be expected and establishes an actual reference point to refer back to later. For the sake of friendship, I want to respect and be flexible with whatever particulars a host might have for me to be aware of.
I like to clean up after myself and offer to clean the entire kitchen or bathroom or fix anything that might need repairing around the house.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed too long and had poor communications lead to upset. I have tried too hard to please. I have been disappointed in myself and others. Then I opened up and made some wonderful friends. Now I am clear about being clear. Communication, open-heartedness and generosity are the keys to my best successes staying with people while traveling.

Interests

Physical clown, acting, dance, reading novels and philosophy, giving & receiving massage, eating, hiking, yoga, visual arts, meditation and hot-tubbing. Teaching children (and adults) about kindness before teaching them to be "intelligent".

2) I have jumped out of an airplane with a parachute.
3) I have been to Burning Man eleven times.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am a long-term student of Tarot Card reading. It is one of my great personal joys and I enjoy giving readings to people I meet.
I have also been giving massage for most of my life. I have done this professionally so I am quite proficient. I enjoy giving body work as a gift to relax people. I also love to receive conscious touch.
I am a carpenter and handyman who can negotiate trade.
I want to learn to cook! And sing!
