About Me

I am a hopelessly nomadic person, I teach workshops all over the world and am constantly travelling; this might be because I love it, or because I am incapable of staying still. I am from the mountains of Colorado but have 'voluntarily imprisoned' myself in cities - Denver, Beijing, Amsterdam, London - for the past 12 years. I teach architecture design studio at the Architectural Association in London, and love it. I am finishing a Doctoral Degree in Philosophy of Architecture and untangling the relationship between some contemporary Japanese architecture, aesthetics and space - in its relation to the development of Capitalism and formation of new identity's (subjectivities) around modes of production in Japan.

the most amazing experience that I get to have once in a while: not thinking, just being
