About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the WHOLE World - however long it may take

ABOUT ME

me and my wife both studied for 5 years each to earn our respective degrees, after which we put them to use for the next 3 years or so.
Amazing how quickly you get burnt out at your job when all you can think about is the big world trip you are planning! we eventually got the courage to throw in our jobs, sell all our stuff in a garage sale (and on ebay of course) and set out on the trip of our lifetime.
We are hoping to make it all the way around the world over the next 3 to 4 years, but who really knows how long it will really take. we started in May of 2008, and are still going strong!

PHILOSOPHY

Only those who leisurely approach that which the masses are busy about can be busy about that which the masses take leisurely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

telling everyone we meet on the road all about how great this community is, urging them to get involved. Also, now that we have settled here in Dubai for at least a few years, we have opened up our apartment to any interested surfers who wish to stop by.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we have stayed with lovely hosts in kathmandu and hong kong. We have also hosted a number of people while living in South Korea. Now we look forward to continue hosting people in Dubai.

Teach, Learn, Share

i would love to learn to play the guitar, and speak japanese, though not at the same time :)
My wife would love to be able to cook an authentic local dish from each country we visit (and i would love to eat them)

Countries I’ve Visited

Cambodia, China, India, Laos, Malaysia, Nepal, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam

Countries I’ve Lived In
