I am a restless person who is constantly looking for new places and things to explore. I am emotional, empathetic, optimistic, self-critical, and constantly wanting to create new things.

PHILOSOPHY

In life, I want to help people as often as I can, to laugh often and cry often too, to seek out new and terrifying things, to be in love and to make unwise choices, but above all-- to learn to live unapologetically.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This summer, I met some wonderful people in W. Europe through Couchsurfing. Now, I would like to open my couch to people who want to visit Rome! And take you on adventures!

Interests

I enjoy being outdoors, adrenaline rushes... I like interesting hikes, rock climbing, cliff jumping, river rafting, soccer, tree climbing, reading, painting, writing, photography, playing with kids, and drinking sangria. I love the ocean, good conversation, and getting to know people. I also like examining new ideas and collecting antique books. I want to learn how to surf!

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all dystopian novels-- Brave New World, Oryx and Crake, 1984, Farenheit 451. I think that Bradbury is a genius, (especially Dandelion Wine.) I read Peter Pan every month, and reread Cat's Cradle almost as often. I also love Orson Scott Card's sci fi, as well as poetry (Mary Oliver, Neruda, Gluck, Oates.)

When it comes to music, I either want it to make me ache or to make me dance-- Sigur Ros, Jose Gonzales, Cloud Cult, Laura Marling, Innocence Mission, Billie Holiday or dance beats.
