Overview
About Me
People say I smile a lot, and this is true. I like to read, visit coffee shops (and make good coffee myself!), wander city streets, talk with friends over drinks and good food, and explore philosophical ideas and what life is about. Over the last few years, I've discovered I'm really interested in architecture and urban design, and I am planning to go back to school soon to study architecture. I love cities and the potential they have to shape who we are and how we live.
I don't travel so frequently, but when I do, it's usually planned around people and food. And I like it that way!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would so much rather get to know a city through the eyes of someone who lives there, rather than just relying on internet searches about what to visit or see. My best traveling experiences have been connecting with people. I want to meet people who make me smile and laugh and think.
And I want to give back and provide a place for people who want to get to know my city in the same way. Come hang out and sleep on our couch!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I left the faith of my childhood when I was 26 years old and shortly thereafter moved to a brand new city (Seattle), where I knew almost no one. It's been fun. I've made wonderful friends, settled into a new life, and (most recently) sold my car, bought a bike, and moved closer downtown so I can live a more urban lifestyle.
