ABOUT ME

I a am calm, pretty goofy, pretty laid back lady.
I currently work for as an outdoor educator, which means sometimes I'm teaching kiddos about the environment OR I'm feeding dead mice to predatory birds. I love my job but it doesn't leave a lot of room financially for extravagant travel. I'm at a point in my life that's transitional...I have little intention of settling down for now and I want to explore as much as I can.

PHILOSOPHY

The world is huge and awesome and the opportunities for learning from other people and places are immense.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None, but I'd like to surf now and eventually reciprocate the surfing when I have a place of my own. My job is on my company's property and makes it difficult for me to host, but it's not totally out of the question.

兴趣

Love reading, hiking, biking, cooking! live and rowdy music! laughter! When I'm not working I like to be around friends. When I can't be around friends I garden, read, watch Broad City.

A couple favorite authors are Richard Brautigan, Franz Kafka, Junot Diaz, Amy Bender and John Steinbeck. Frank Ocean, Tortoise and Fiona Apple are some of my favorite musicians.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I traveled around the globe for 3 months when I was in college. I visited many different countries in a short amount of time. It was crazy but awesome. On the same trip I saw the Northern lights in Norway!!
