I describe myself as a free-spirit, marching to the beat of my own drum. I love all things quirky, offbeat and imperfections. I am not materialistic and try to get by very few material possessions.

After 4 years in Reykjavik, I decided it was time to move on. I don't like to stay in one place for a long time. My greatest fear is settling for a mundane or a "normal" life.

Interests

Exploring the world, cycling, skiing, political theory, social justice, my PhD.

I love to find common ground with people who have different backgrounds and worldviews from my own. I believe that everybody can connect on some level.

I hate to confirm stereotypes but I love Guinness

I'm madly in love with my job, a PhD in Disability studies. I enjoy talking about politics and social issues.

Movies: City of God, This is England, Shawshank Redemption, Cinema Paridiso, Trainspotting, High Fidelity, Into the Wild, the Motorcycle Diaries, and lots of kids movies from the 90s... Home Alone etc.

Books: I don´t know why but I can´t read fiction, it kind of bothers me cause I´m generally a very imaginative person! I also have a problem finishing books or reading them from beginning to end (in that order).

Books about politics and history. Marx, Chomsky, Tony Benn etc etc etc.
