About Me

CURRENT MISSION
Learn about new cultures, laugh, making new friends...

ABOUT ME
I love chatting/talking, open-minded (as lots here use to say :P), friendly and interested in making new friends all over the world. I'm really keen on learning about other cultures and countries.

I'm working at an advertising agency and I live in a city called Olinda, which is a historic city in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, located on the country's northeastern Atlantic Ocean coast, just north of Recife, the Capital of the state. It is one of the best-preserved colonial cities in Brazil, really close to the Capital of Pernambuco, Recife. Olinda and Recife were just one city few centuries ago and nowadays they are called 'twin cities'. From the Recife's downtown to Olinda's historic centre it's just 7km but in some places you just don't know where one ends and where the other beggins.

PHILOSOPHY
"All that we are is the result of what we have thought. If a man speaks or acts with an evil thought, pain follows him. If a man speaks or acts with a pure thought, happiness follows him, like a shadow that never leaves him." Buddha

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've been hosting people since I've signed up to couchsurfing. People from really different countries had been to my place. I can learn a lot from such different people. Couchsurfing has changed my world.

Nowadays I am not hosting for a while, as I don't have much spare space where I am living right now but I hope soon I can come back. For now, I am available to walk around, sightseeing, make some tours and show around my area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've hosted people from USA, Germany, Slovenia, France, Romania, Brazil, Argentina, Holland, Venezuela, Sweden, China, etc... The experiences were amazing!

I'm basicaly interested in films, books, friends and I have a special taste for alternative/indie music/culture.
