Why I’m on Couchsurfing

So when I travel I can explore the option of couch surfing instead of staying at a hotel... Hopefully meet some good friends along the way.

Music, Movies, and Books

My musical taste is fairly broad, though I have a tendency towards roots, rock and reggae. But mostly roots. Americana, blue/jamgrass, folk and songwriter type stuff. Especially minor/modal tunes. Those songs that give you skin-gasm's.

I enjoy books that invite one to explore spirituality and question reality. Everything from Herman Hesse and Tom Robbins on to books like Tao te Ching and the Prophet.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play mandolin and love jamming with different people... I always learn something. I like playing with musicians of all different skill levels, instruments and influences. there's nothing better than sharing spontaneous melodies with a stranger... You get to know each other on a different level.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'd love to share some melodies! Also happy to cook meals and help with chores. I'm also good at sharing conversation over tea.
