About Me

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Taking care of people is very rewarding
To be taken care of soothes the inner turmoil.

Sometimes, though, indulging in nightly commotion works better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I touched eternity
.
The account that follows, not nearly half as sensational as the actual event, is one of a romantic youngster who suddenly found himself in a privileged moment; a moment wherein absolute beauty was revealed to him.
*
On a moonless night and on a soundtrack of thunder I witnessed and was attracted by raging winds and waves, as seen from the underbrush of some Croatian coast. Letting them bid me to come closer I soon was within touching distance of depths that thundered to the very rock on which I stood
only to form a massive pillar of water that towered above me and soaked me as it came down. All my senses focusing on this stream of black and blue rhythmic danger travelling towards me, longing for me, only changing direction right beneath my feet, the mass of the water ascending mere centimeters before my face, rushing to the sky. Seeing it reach its peak you have no time to watch it come down; the next blow might hit home. Your eyes follow every next wave, supplier of unseen showers and awe. Every inch of your being becomes aware of this uplifting futile feeling in which a full embracement of eternity itself is this near, this attractive. Every new wave, a new arm, pulling you closer to an everlasting kiss. And yet, still i live.
