I'm a 8th generation West Virginian that had never really left home much until a few years ago I WWOOF'd and traveled around the US for 5 months. Since then I've been working out of state doing my dream job as a solar electrician. Now I'm out of town for weeks at a time and come back occasionally. I bought a house and convined my long-term girlfriend to move with me here. Shes still in Pittsburgh but comes on the weekends until she can find a job. I plan on pursuing my other passions/hobbies now that I have land. We are planning on having plenty of Working Breed dogs and eventually Chickens, Rabbits, A big garden and Honey Bees to start out.
