I am undergrad student that is about to embark on a whole new adventure. I will be studying abroad in Istanbul, Turkey for 4 months starting in mid September. I am very excited, but a little nervous. I cant wait.

I am a newbie to couchsurfing, but it looks like a great opportunity to meet new people and learn about the culture and customs of people.

I am an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America so I have been on tons of camping and hiking trips. I really enjoyed white water rafting down the Colorado River. Just this summer I was able to attend an event and meet President Obama. I also happened to be right by Stone Wall Bar in NYC when marriage equality passed. It was a very emotional and exciting time. I was blessed to experience it.

Well, I am citizen of the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma. I am involved in my community and try to volunteer and participate with my tribe in Tahlequah, OK.
